Who We Are

We are a thriving Quaker community located on the traditional and present homeland of the Lower Tanana Dene. We are active in Alaska Friends Conference, Friends General Conference, Friends Committee on National Legislation, and in the wider world of Friends’ activities and concerns. Chena Ridge Friends Meeting welcomes everyone without regard to race, ethnicity, color, gender, sexual orientation, sex, or religion.

On a typical Sunday morning Friends of all ages are in attendance, and there is often at least one first-time visitor.  Meeting for Worship is held in the Meeting House, and other activities take place in the Main Cabin.  The Meeting shares Hidden Hill with the residents of four small cabins on the property and an apartment over the Meeting House. The property is managed by the Hidden Hill Friends Center Committee, a committee of the Meeting, the residents, and the community.
